General Care Instructions
When you unpack your rug, lay it flat and allow the pile to condition at room temperature for 2 to 3 days, then brush or vacuum as usual to allow the pile to rebuild.
We recommend regular vacuuming on a low power setting with a high pile setting to remove all loose fibers and prevent dust and crumbs from becoming embedded in the fiber roots.
Avoid direct sunlight, as this can cause discoloration.
Gently trim any pulled or loose threads with scissors to prevent further damage.
Spot clean and absorb spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing to avoid damaging the fabric.
Do not use harsh chemicals, as these may damage or fade the colors in your rug.
Never store your rug in a sealed plastic bag—use the convenient cotton bag provided for storage.
We recommend using the non-slip underlay to keep your rug in place. Avoid exposing the rug to direct sunlight, as the colors may fade.

Things to Keep in Mind
This is a handmade piece. Slight variations in color and appearance may occur. This is normal and makes it unique.
Wool rugs shed fibers when new and during use. This is not a defect, but a characteristic of the natural wool fiber used. This is a handmade piece, so slight variations in color and appearance may occur. This is normal and makes it unique.
